On February 3, Congressman Ed Towns introduced H.R. 795 and on March 24, Senator Barbara Mikulski introduced, S. 686, the Dorothy I. Height and Whitney M. Young, Jr. Social Work Reinvestment Act. This legislation will establish a Social Work Reinvestment Commission to address the future of the profession.
