Action Requested
Many of you hold legislative days and other chapter events throughout the spring. We are asking you during one of these events to create one video for your Senators and one for your Representatives stating that “I am here with (insert number) National Association of Social Workers’ members and we urge our Congressional delegation to cosponsor H.R. 795 (or S. 686).” Please upload your video to www.YouTube.com. For directions on uploading a video to You Tube go to http://help.youtube.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=57924&t….  To upload a video to You Tube you need to join You Tube. If you don’t want to create a You Tube account, you can send your video via e-mail to dkastner@naswdc.org or mail a DVD to Dina Kastner, National Association of Social Workers, 750 First Street NE, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20002.
Come back to the CapWiz alert and insert the link from You Tube in the text box and send your message. To send to multiple Members of Congress you can e-mail it through your own e-mail and then let us know you have sent it.  You should be able to do the upload once for the Senators. Please also send your video to advocacy@naswdc.org so we have a copy of your message.
