January 22nd, 2008 at 11:47 amDear Ms. Barr:
Thank you for contacting us. NASW national office has internships in our Washington, DC office only. The Tennessee Chapter of NASW may have internships in their office; however, they are located in Nashville — http://www.naswtn.com. Your graduate school should be able to assist you in finding the best placement.
All the best to you in your education!

University of Tennessee @ Memphis is connected with the Veterans Health Administration in Memphis and most Social Work students are provided stipends through VA during their internship.

June 18th, 2009 at 3:52 pmHello. I am writing on behalf of an adult day care center. I am inquiring about a referral program for Veterans who wish to attend an adult day care center. Is there a list that you all are able to put a certain day care center on so that a veteran may decide to check that particular center out…or what is the process for an adult day care center to be known that we’re available for Veterans and accept their benefits.
