    It’s great to see Social Workers at this covention. I hope to see an equal number of Social Workers at the Republican National Convention next week.

    After all, isn’t diversity about all of us?

    I am a Singaporean and a practising social worker in Singapore. I am always with much envy when I see how other states advance in their social work profession and in mooting the cause for democracy. In Singapore, demonstrations are prohibited and hardly any social worker is interested to lobby for change, to speak up against the repressive system here. I am learning a lot from your state and the many motions you guys have been mooting for. Great work!

    That’s so great to see! I would love to one day represent the field of social work at a convention of this size! We really are advancing the field! Social Work and politics should go hand in hand.

    As a MSW student and a person who has worked in social work field (child welfare) for 10 years, and as a Conservative Christian social worker, I hope that the field will be represented at Republican events as well…who better to help the right see the social welfare needs of Americans than those of us who serve those in need?
