Congressional briefing on preventing mistreatment of Newborn Intensive Care Unit infants

NASW invites you to participate in a Congressional briefing that identifies strategies to prevent child maltreatment of infants from the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The briefing will enhance awareness about NICU families, identify their unique needs and review program and policy solutions that promote positive parenting outcomes.  The briefing will highlight policies and legislation that can support NICU families.

The briefing will be held June 27 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 121 at the Cannon House Office Building, 27 Independence Avenue, SE, Washington, D.C. 20003. CLICK HERE TO RSVP!
