Health Insurance Marketplace Training Webinars Available

Jun 14, 2013

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will be hosting webinars on the health insurance marketplace (formally called the exchange) throughout June and July.  Health Insurance Marketplaces will be open in every state on January 1, 2014. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about this very important feature of the Affordable Care Act.

These training webinars are broken into two levels:

Level One: Health Insurance Marketplace 101 (basic): A one-hour high-level webinar that reviews the accomplishments of the Affordable Care Act and provides a basic introduction to the marketplace, highlighting who is eligible and how it will work.

Level Two: Understanding the Health Insurance Marketplace (advanced): A two-hour detailed review of the marketplace, including eligibility, enrollment, plan structure, Medicaid expansion, and the streamlined application.

Webinars are scheduled through July 31, 2013.  Space is limited to 200 people per webinar. There are several dates available for each level of webinar. Registration information at the link below:
