  1. There is much to learn when one is starting a private practice, and social work school does not prepare you for this. One needs a community to lean on and grow with. In addition, business tips and grants for BIPOC social workers. The struggle is real and the finances may not always be available. Consider partnering with others to create a group practices and look for coaches and mentors. But don’t forget, you then must pay it forward. NASW,we must do this together. #TogetherWeRise.
