Know Your Voting Rights

NASW has been vocal on the issue of voting rights. We encourage social workers to understand their own rights and those of their clients. Voter suppression efforts across the country have resulted in intimidation and confusion about who can vote and what identification they need to bring with them on Tuesday, November 6.

Further, individuals in the states affected by Hurricane Sandy may not know about extended hours and opportunties, or may have trouble getting to the polls tomorrow.
